Democratic candidate Dr. Carl Perrin is heading for New England today. He expects to make some campaign stops in Connecticut and then move on to Maine. He is sure to pick up lots of endorsements for his candidacy in both places. Loyal supporters in Maine have been collecting returnable bottles to help finance his campaign. He now has $59.23 in his treasury. He is confident that when he turns in all those returnable bottles, the fund will be several hundred dollars.

We will be going to Maine to follow Dr. Perrin as he barnstorms through the state. We are not sure whether we will be able to post any blogs during this time of intense electioneering, but we will be back on August 30 with reports on Perrin’s progress in the Pine Tree State.
